UK industrial post-punk mavericks History of Guns have released their eighth album, 'Half Light' via Liquid Len Recording Company on June 21, 2024. The album delves into themes of darkness with an underbelly of hope, exploring the human condition through various musical genres. Founding members Del Alien (vocals) and Max Rael (keyboards, programming) are joined by guitarist Caden Clarkson on this ambitious project.
The album features standout tracks like 'No Longer Earthbound' and 'When You Don't Matter,' which have been previewed through captivating music videos. Fans of Alien Sex Fiend, Cabaret Voltaire, Nitzer Ebb, Coil, and Nine Inch Nails will find much to appreciate in 'Half Light.'
History of Guns' journey began in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, in 1996, and they quickly became frontrunners of the UK's Wasp Factory/FuturePunk scene. After a hiatus, they returned in 2022 with 'Forever Dying In Your Eyes' and now offer a genre-fluid experience with 'Half Light.'

Clarkson, and mastered by Pete Maher (U2, Pixies, Depeche Mode), is available
