2019 hit the end and so the decade too, so let’s
do some ultra-quick review about releases that i had the pleasure to check love
or hate.
As I’m I fan of death black thrash grind
core and slam sure my taste are not universal, so don’t hesitate to share with
me your metal year …so it begin
2019:
Disentomb (The Decaying Light) Australian Brutal Death/tech how to describe
them? Easy, if Disgorge and Lago has a son clearly it’s Disentomb and the
drumming….
Blood
Incantation (Hidden History of the Human Race) US
death Metal, did you enjoy the preview release Starspawn? Some cosmic death
metal? You will love it. it’s less intense but very efficient
Memoriam
(Requiem for Mankind) UK Death Metal. I know how
lot of you miss the legendary Bolt Thrower so go check requiem For Mankind the
spirit of BT is clearly hunting this release very easy to listen a real
pleasure to hear such a good stuff in 2019
Vermicular
Incubation (Chapter Of The Vermin Domain) France/Swiss/
Hong Kong Brutal death metal Slam. More Slam then death metal but yeah who
cares the guys just united their experiences and deliver some very solid
release a catchy slamy rotted music that makes your neck break at the first
song.
Inhuman
Devourment (Transanding through Depravity) US Brutal
death Metal,a nice and easy brutal
music not modern clear and precise.
Virginity
Fraud (Rejected By Death, An Imperishable Torment) Hong
Kong /TaiwanBrtual Death Metal
Slam, little advise having an OD with this release is highly recommended.
Mayhem
(Daemon) Norway Black Metal, I completely missed
this one and one of my friend said that’s a complete waist!! I checked it and
then I hate to disagree with my friend this is not the release of the year but
worth it from mayhem. Some De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas sprit, dark and sinister
release couldn’t expect less from
mayhem.
Destruction
(Born To Perish) Germany Thrash Metal, thrash metal
from Deutschlandat its finest
Bolzer
(Lese Majesty) EPSwitzerland Black/Death Metal, Hero was a cosmic blast and this
one is just a continuity of the previews master piece with some imperfections
and let’s be clear this music is genius with a solid foundation, but i’m
thinking about the clear vocals they should get rid of them…anyway wait for the
next album.
Saqras’s
Cult (The 9th King) Belgium Black Metal,
That Intro!!!!! I remember sharing this release on my facebook page saying
that. Black metal about inca culture worth it! the release is well balanced the
vocals are really good.
Krypts (Cadaver Circulation) Finland Death/Doom Metal, What an experience
this is a highly recommended release for the lover of death doom growing
nightmare metal a massive and heavy, evil not polished and not technical, death
metal release of the year.
Exhumed (Horror)US Death/Grindcore, what do you expect from Exhumed, blast
beats, riffing savagery, screams, nightmare blood or horror? So be my guest and
give it a try.
Party
Cannon (Cannons of Gore Soaked, Blood Drenched,
Parasitic Sickness)UK Slam/Brutal Death Metal, I know this is a 4 way split
(Gorevent/Bloodscribe/Party Cannon/Parasitic Ejaculation).
And here I’m talking about Party Cannon and
their 3 tracks of pure madness what a joyful solid and so sunny Brutal death
metal very catchy electric and energetic songs.
Decade
2009-2019:
For me the release that mark the last
decade is clearly from MGLA
(Exercises in futility 2015), they redefine the game with this release lots of
word have been spoken about this release.
And finally to end this 2019 review, i want
to share with you all, from all over the world the rare few release out in my
country Algeria.
Danny
Kross (Void) DZ metal, this new ep came after the
first double album 2 years ago, and in 2 year the young Danny just grows up in terms
of music writing this is brilliant a mixt between modern and alternative(some core/jent…I can’t tell ) metal very
refreshing and enjoyable to listen give it a try.
Jugulator
(Ad Exitium)Thrash metal, first release and bim classical thrash metal in your face,
lover of the US bay area classic thrash metal? Here you are served. Solid 7
track with absolute good powerful riffing that makes enjoy track by track
without any break. Be advice usually neck breaks are expected after Arabic
Nightmare….now you know.
Berzek
(The Hollow World) Black Metal. So Norway and
Sweden just moved to North Africa? This is one of the best surprise for 2019
melodic deep cold black metal.
Clearly the inspiration is taken from the
north pioneer of the gender and what makes this release unique is the using of
Arabic language perfectly mixed with coldness of the record adding more
ethnical identity without outlasting the black metal sprit, nicely done very
good work brilliant.

(Castle full Of Shit) double EP( GxPxS, Gore pus
and Shit) and (Apocalypse Grind Core) Gore/Grindcore,
This is my side project go check it, it’s
grind core/Gore Grind with abusive use of pitch shifter vocals.
