Parham Gharavaisi, a solo musician and producer known for his diverse discography, unveils his latest single, "Divided (I Have Become)." With eight full-length albums spanning genres from instrumental post-rock to hard rock and melodic metal, Gharavaisi's unique approach is characterized by using only physical instruments like electric guitar, electric bass, and classical guitar, while harnessing the magic of computer software for all other sounds.
Established in 2019, Parham Gharavaisi's musical journey took flight, culminating in the release of the debut instrumental album in early 2020. Noteworthy for eschewing mainstream influences, Gharavaisi creates music purely based on personal inspiration.
The new single, "Divided (I Have Become)," carries
an old-school mid-2000s metalcore sound, reflecting Gharavaisi's distinctive
style. The track explores themes of inner conflict, mortality, and the
transient nature of life, vividly portraying a fragmented identity through the
metaphor of colors tainted with blood. In Gharavaisi's words, "I am but an
